Emmanuel completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Active Health and Rehabilitation from Simon Fraser University (SFU). During Emmanuel’s undergrad, he learned the interactions between injury, its effects on human movement and rehabilitative protocols to improve injury. With this knowledge, he applied it to his clients while he worked as a Personal Trainer, an online Powerlifting Strength Coach and volunteered at various Physiotherapy clinics.
Emmanuel is also a national-level competitive Powerlifter, looking to set new personal records and achieve feats he didn’t think he would be able to get close to. During his journey, he’s had injuries such as glute and pectoral strains which he was forced to find ways to rehabilitate and improve. This led to him becoming a Provincial and Regional champion in his weight class.
Emmanuel has worked with a variety of clients, ranging from high school athletes to older weekend warriors. He believes that everyone has the capability to improve and change their lives one action at a time. One way to do so is through movement. Emmanuel is honored to help those who seek to improve themselves through Kinesiology.
