Anna Ignacio

B.Sc Kin, Min Psyc, MD

Anna obtained her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology major in Interdisciplinary Studies with minors in Psychology at University of British Columbia.

She had years of experience working with clients in different rehabilitation clinics where she led and facilitated active rehabilitation exercises, sports specific training, and conditioning for work related injuries.

She recently completed her Medical degree in the Philippines wherein she did few months of internship in hospitals located in BC. She is currently applying for residency.

In addition to her knowledge in acute, chronic diseases, and pharmacologic management, she firmly believes that exercise is medicine. For her, physical activity is a free medicine that benefits the overall health as well as the prevention of development of various chronic diseases.
On her free time, she enjoys hiking, working out, reading, and trying out Pinterest recipes.

Faraz Hassany

B. Kin

Faraz graduated from the University of British Columbia with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology: Clinical Physiology, he is a BCAK registered Kinesiologist with extensive experience in cardiac and soft tissue rehab. Faraz has experience working with people of all ages and people with a variety of health conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, arthritis, obesity, and chronic health concerns. He has worked with clients in clinics, homes, hospitals, and long-term care facilities. Faraz is committed to using his knowledge to help equip his clients with the tools they need to lead a healthier, happier life. Faraz recognizes the importance of making holistic lifestyle changes and prescribes functional exercises that incorporate the whole body. He aims to empower clients to continue doing the activities they enjoy!
KINESIOLOGIST

Vincent Huang

B.Sc Kin, NASM

Vincent graduated from Simon Fraser University (SFU) where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in active health and rehabilitation. During his undergrad, Vincent has had clinical experience teaching corrective exercises to patients with musculoskeletal injuries focusing on evidence-informed clinical decision-making under physiotherapist/chiropractor supervision. Vincent also worked as a personal trainer certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) where he prioritized corrective exercises within his client's training programs. His experiences working with different client populations has taught him the benefits of exercise therapy where improving mobility, strength and maintaining structural integrity are integral to injury management.
Vincent had always been involved in sports and athletics. One of his main pursuits being Taekwondo, and holds a second-degree black belt. After overcoming his own serious injuries namely, hip impingement and partial rotator cuff tear, his rehab experiences solidified his commitment towards helping individuals manage their injuries and regain functional capacity needed for daily living and working.

In his free time, Vincent enjoys lifting weights, reading and summiting scenic mountains in the summer.
