What to expect during your session

The session will be tailored to your specific injuries and functional abilities. During your initial visit, your Kinesiologist will conduct a thorough functional assessment and collaborate with you to create a personalized treatment plan. Following this, they will guide you through targeted exercises and stretches designed to address your unique needs. If appropriate, you’ll receive an online exercise program detailing the exercises covered in the session, enabling you to continue practicing independently at home or in the gym.

What to prepare

If you booked with us over the phone, you will receive the date and time of your appointment, the location, and the name of your Kinesiologist. Please review these details before arriving.

Dress in comfortable and flexible gym attire. Expect to move, and potentially sweat. Water is recommended as hydration is important during exercise.

For your convenience, you might want to bring a towel and a water bottle. A towel can be useful if you prefer to have one on hand, and staying hydrated is always a good idea.

We set high expectations of ourselves and our organization. We embrace change and view it as a path to progress. We are dedicated to ongoing learning and advancement and strive to improve ourselves continually. We prioritize impactful outcomes and encourage and embrace new and imaginative ideas.

How long are the sessions? How often should I attend?

Each session lasts 45 minutes and involves one-on-one time with your Kinesiologist. The total length of the program generally ranges from 12 to 24 sessions, which can vary based on your specific injuries, functional limitations, and progress. After your initial assessment, your Kinesiologist will develop a customized treatment plan tailored to your needs and goals. They will also recommend a schedule that ensures optimal recovery while accommodating your availability and lifestyle. Regular adjustments to the plan may be made based on your ongoing progress and any additional insights gained during sessions.

Should I continue my other treatments while doing Active Rehab?

This will depend on the recommendations by your physician and how beneficial your other treatments are for you. An Active Rehab Program works well in conjunction with other treatments such as physiotherapy, massage therapy, and chiropractic treatments. If necessary, our team will communicate with other practitioners to ensure your recovery remains focused and effective.
